DAY 1: On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and transferred to Hotel

DAY 2: After an early breakfast, drive to the slopes of Mount Kenya and arrive at Lodge in time for lunch. Later on head out for an optional visit to the Olpejeta Game Sanctuary. The reserve is famous for its big Rhino population in the wild, some of Kenya´s big game, birdlife and chimpanzee´s orphanage. Later on in the day before dinner, you will be met by your mountain guide for an introduction of your hike. 1 night Naromoru River Lodge.

DAY 3: After breakfast transfer to Timan.You will meet your guide and rest for your crew here. After an introduction, commence your hike and in about 6 hours reach at Marania Camp (3300m) where you will spend the night in tents.

DAY 4: Our hike starts after breakfast to Alan point (3800m) in about 5 hours through the mountain forest. Some species of bird´s primates and some big game are spotted along the way. You will spend your night in tents.

DAY 5: Your destination today is the Hidney Valley (4200m) in about 6 hours through the mountain forest some species of bird´s primates and some big game are spotted along the way. You will spend your night in tents.

DAY 6: Your destination today is the Hidney Valley (4200m) in about 6 hours through the mountain forest and to Col Point (4500m) to acclimatize. Later on descend to your camp site for the night in tents.

DAY 7: After breakfast, hike to Simba Col (4600m) enjoying the magnificent views and later on to Simba Tarn in about 5 hours where you will put up in tents for the night.

DAY 8: Today our 6 hours hike takes us to highest point Lenana (4985m) where you will spend your time taking summit photos and later on descend to American Camp for the night in the tents.

DAY 9: From American Camp, descend to Highland camp in about 7 hours and reach your camp before the end of the day. A night in tents

DAY 10: Descend to Giant Bamboo Camp (2600m) in about 6 hours

DAY 11 - 12: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

From the mountain, transfer to Samburu National Reserve and to lodge for a well overdue shower. Remote and dry, the reserve provides some of the best and most colourful game viewing in the region. See rare games such as reticulated giraffe, long necked gerenuk, grevy´s zebra and Somali ostrich. Enjoy the rest of your time in morning and evening game drives. 2 nights

DAY 13: SAMBURU SIMBA LODGE

Your journey to Nairobi will start after an early game drive and breakfast. You will have packed lunch on the way and arrive in Nairobi in time for your international flight.
